Money & the Professionals

There is a particular kind of stress that lives in a business owner's chest every spring, the scramble to find receipts, the dread of not knowing what is deductible, the suspicion that you are leaving money on the table and have no idea where. Latasha Phillips built her whole business to take that feeling off your plate.
Latasha has been an accountant for more than fifteen years. She grew up in Marston, Missouri, has called Northwest Arkansas home since 2002, and earned her accounting degree from the University of Arkansas before adding an MBA from Webster University. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband and two sons, and she runs Legacy Pro Accounting with a mission that goes beyond filing paperwork. She wants you to understand your own money.
That word, understand, is the heart of it. Plenty of people will do your books. Latasha wants to teach you why the numbers matter, what they are telling you, and how to read them so that your decisions get sharper over time. She offers personalized bookkeeping and tax preparation for owners who are ready to grow, and her bookkeeping work is designed so that tax season stops being a panic and starts being a formality.
She is honest about why she started. She felt called to it, plainly and spiritually, because she saw so many businesses chasing revenue without anyone in their corner helping them interpret what they were earning and keeping. Her advice to other Black entrepreneurs is to network and to step outside the comfort zone, and the best advice she ever received is the kind that carries a whole season of building. Keep showing up even when it feels like no one is watching, and stay consistent, because when you are operating in your gift and offering real value, the people will come.
If you have been running your business on guesswork and a shoebox of receipts, consider this your sign. Legacy Pro Accounting is right here in Fayetteville, and you can reach Latasha through her website to talk about where you are and where you want to be.
